MICHEL & TEAM
Financial success isn't just about the numbers. It's about building a life you actually want to live and having a plan that gets you there. That's the philosophy I bring to every client relationship.
I specialize in working with women in business: entrepreneurs, executives, and working moms who are brilliant at what they do but don't always have time to give their finances the attention they deserve. I bring structure, clarity, and a whole lot of patience to the financial lives behind busy schedules. I'm also proud to be an LGBTQIA+ affirming advisor, and I work hard to create a space where every client feels genuinely seen and supported.
Now for the fun stuff.
I'm a Columbus native (born and raised, which legally obligates me to say, "Go Bucks!"). I got my BA in Psychology from Ohio University, landed in Human Resources and even went back for a second bachelor's in HR Management. Then life handed me a detour, and I took it.
Going through a divorce pushed me to rethink everything. I wanted more flexibility, more purpose, and a career where I could genuinely help people. Financial advising checked every box. That was over a decade ago, and I haven’t looked back.
These days I live in Worthington with my two daughters and Ophelia, our golden retriever, who goes by "Muffin Top" and is, objectively, the best dog in the world. My older daughter is in college, and my youngest will be a senior this fall. I am not ready. Ophelia, thankfully, is not going anywhere.
When I'm not working or at the high school, you'll find me outside with Ophie, walking, on my bike, or attempting a run (when my body cooperates). I've recently added weight training to the mix and made calcium a non-negotiable. Let's just say I'm proactively fighting genetics on the bone health front. I also dabble in hot yoga and Pilates despite being aggressively inflexible, and I'm trying to revive my high school tennis game. We'll see.
I'm active in the community through the Junior League of Columbus and volunteer with Canine Companions. I love to read (mostly historical fiction), and somewhere in the pandemic I picked up paint-by-numbers. Turns out it's wildly therapeutic. I stand by it.
One last thing...trampolines hate me. Feel free to ask!
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. If you’d like to connect or learn more, I’d love to hear from you.
